What is the attire for this event?

This is a formal event with evening dress for civilian guests and No. 2 Mess Dress for military personnel (No. 2B Service Mess Dress is also permitted for those without No. 2 Mess Dress).

Who can register for the gala?

Although the gala is open to all, it is primarily intended for members of the 34 Canadian Brigade Group and flanking organizations, veterans, civilian businesses that employ reservists, organizations that support military personnel and veterans, and military families.

Is this event publicly funded?

No. This event is entirely funded by non-public funds. Specifically, ticket prices and sponsorships make the event possible. Proceeds are minimal and are used to organize the next edition.

Are veterans allowed to wear mess dress?

Yes! However, we encourage veterans to have the retired "R" patch sewn on the lower portion of the left sleeve.

How to register for the gala?

Registration for the gala is done online via the event page. If registration is not possible, it may be because the event is not yet open or all tickets have been sold.
